  A friend of mine came into this burger king for a coffee yesterday and this was her experience...
  
  "Bill grabbed me breakfast this morning from Burger King. It was all great until I took the last swig of my coffee and felt something odd in my mouth. I bit down and then immediately spit out out on a napkin. I was inspecting it, trying to figure out how a piece of rice had gotten in my coffee, when I came to the horrifying realization that it was indeed a MAGGOT!!!!! I had to choke back the urge to vomit as I continued to inspect it, wondering how a hard, dried up maggot could get into my coffee!!? After brushing my teeth and mouthwashing a couple times, I still couldn't get over it. I worked in food service for years, so I've learned to let a lot slide. I just couldn't get over this one though. So, after I finished my work, about 3 hours after the discovery, I tried calling the number that Google had listed for that Burger King- of course it didn't work. I had to go dig my receipt out of the trash and call the number there. The reason for this post is because of that phone call. If I have an issue, I'm pretty calm, I'll talk to the manager and move on. I've also been on the other end, as a restaurant manager, and if there was anything I could do in a situation like this, I would do it. Apparently, Christina, the manager of the 23 & Van Dyke- Shelby Twp, MI Burger King, doesn't think that way. I asked to speak with a manager, she then snapped "yeah that's me" so, I politely explained the situation about the maggot and instead of apologizing, she immediately scolds me for not calling earlier, stating "You should have called right away, why didn't you call when it happened?" Seriously? I called within hours. Sorry, I was working and trying not to be sick. When I asked her why she was scolding me instead of apologizing, she copped an attitude, offered a hasty apology and then asked "Well what do you want me to do about it? Do you want to come in and I'll give you a free coffee?" Ummmm- no. No thank you, I don't care for any more maggot coffee. I told her that I would like her to find out why there were maggots to begin with and maybe be a bit more sympathetic to upset customers. To which she replied that "everything was sealed, so she doesn't know how it happened, what else do you want from me?" Wow. I was just floored. Clearly, she didn't care and the conversation was pointless. I thanked her for her help and hung up. So, if you like your coffee without any "EXTRAS" please avoid Burger King at all costs. I'll be sticking to Tim Horton's from now on."
  
  Stay far away from this maggot infested burger king if you know what's good for you!

  Just left and I always get the same things , the Food is always Hott and fresh. The manager tonight ( with the braces) was very friendly , fast and polite. Keep up the good work you guys

  All three chicken sandwiches were burnt, they forgot a shake, a double cheeseburger, and the zesty sauce for the onion rings that we specifically asked for. The lights in the kitchen wouldn't stop flickering and I believe the young lady who was upfront was the manager, stood at the expediting area on her phone. The gentleman who forgot the food couldn't even be bothered to bring out the food like he said he would.

  So I went to grab dinner from here tonight. When I went thru the drive thru and placed my order, whoever was on the other end didn't hear my clearly and got my order wrong. I figured I probably just said it to fast or something, but I basically repeated myself 3-4 times before he got it right. Then when I pulled up to the window what do I find? The guy that toke my order with a ear bud in his ear and playing on his phone. I'm so glad that Burger King employees rather prioritize being on their phones than actually doing their jobs.
